The 3 Biggest Reasons Why Most People Are Not Successful

If you are not living the kind of life that you desire, this would be a perfect article because you are going to discover the 3 biggest reasons why most people are not successful.

The majority of the people out there are not living an extraordinary life. There is nothing wrong with living ordinarily. However, you have to ask yourself whether this is what you want in your life.

Do you want to achieve great things and live big in life or do you just want to go through life?

A lot of people thought that if they are successful and if they are rich, they will not have a peaceful life. You have to understand that being rich and successful have nothing to do with the other part of your life. You can be rich and successful, and in the same time still live a peaceful life. In fact, there are many people out there who have accomplished this.

So ask yourself, “What do you want from your life First?” And this is the first reason most people are not successful…

So let’s get to the main Reasons why most people are still Underachievers?

1. You Have To Have Dreams And Goals

Yes, you need to have dreams and goals in your life if you want to live a successful life. Without dreams and goals, you will never grow and you will never know where you are heading. Just like Walt Disney, he saw his dreams that he wanted to create an amusement park that makes people happy. And because of this dreams and his perseverance in his dreams, he successfully built his Walt Disney Empire that becomes one of the most well-known business around the World.

If you look at all the successful people out there, they all start with a dream. They know exactly what kind of life they want to live, what kind of future they want to create and what kind of change they want to make. The Wright Brothers want to invent airplane and they successfully did it. Tiger Woods has a dream of becoming the youngest world champion in golf and he did it as well. Same goes to Bill Gates but How About You? What is your dream? And what do you want to accomplish in your life?

Having dreams and goals are the first step in living a great life. Your dream is your initiator that will lead you toward the kind of life that you are looking for.

So that’s why make sure you have dreams and you know what you want to accomplish in the future. And remember, whenever you dream about what you want, you have to dream BIG and make your dreams as excited to you as possible. If your dreams are not excited to you, you will never put in commitment to achieve them.

Les Brown says most people fail in life not because they aim too high and miss. “Most people fail because they aim too low and hit. And many don’t aim at all.”

This is why you only heard about extraordinary people who have achieved amazing results in life. Have you ever heard about people who achieve only average or a little above average result in life. Your dreams are the fuel that will motivate you all the time.

2. Procrastination And Not Doing Anything About Your Dreams Are Not Going To Help

The second biggest reason is that most people are not doing anything about what they want. Yes, all of us want to be rich and successful, but not many of us are doing something to accomplish it.

Procrastination or putting things off is the number one killer of all successes. If you put things off and are not taking any action, you will never get the results that you want. For example, most people know that if they consistently take action, they will eventually move one step forward toward their dreams. Unfortunately, most of us are not willing to take the action. I remember a saying goes like Procrastination is like a credit card: it’s a lot of fun until you get the bill…!

The reason people procrastinate on their dreams and goals is they think that taking action is causing pain and making them uncomfortable. Just like if you are in sales, and your goal is to make more sales, you know what you have to do, You have to make cold calls and to meet clients but you are not willing to do it simply because you feel uncomfortable about it.

The solution to this is to make all the actions that you are going to take as something that will bring you pleasure. There are many ways to do this; one of them is to celebrate all your wins. If you make the cold call, celebrate it. You do not have to celebrate it with Champaign or travel and holiday to China or Egypt. You can start to train yourself by celebrating it small. Such as watching a movie after taking the necessary action or allow yourself to play games after you have done the work.

As long as you take action consistently and make it a habit in your life, you will have no problem creating the results you are looking for. You will eventually achieve your goals and reach your dreams in the end. No matter how huge the tree, if you take a sharp axe and swing at it, it will eventually fall.

3. Don’t Believe In Your Dreams And Give Up Too Soon

Sometimes, you may feel doubtful whether you can accomplish what you want in your life. And this is the moment that you start to lose energy and trying to give up. You have to believe in your dreams and you have to trust that you have what it takes to achieve them. You have to say yourself It’s Possible.

If you do not believe in your dreams, there is no point setting goals to achieve them. Whenever you do not believe that it is possible, you will close your thought and never to let your mind think about the possibility of achieving it anymore.

Your beliefs toward your dreams and goals are important. When you truly believe that you can do it, you will actually plan it right, do it with confident and eventually achieve it.

There you have it, the 3 biggest reasons why most people are not living their dreams. I hope you like the article and you are going to take action now. Your suggestions and complaints are always welcome, so feel free to comment.
